| 13.0 | Industries across from the gage site are threatened. Residences along the west bank of the river in Lehigh are also affected. |
| 12.0 | Campgrounds in the downstream parks between Fort Dodge and Lehigh are affected. |
| 11.0 | Lowland areas near the river begin to flood. Homes along the river in Fort Dodge are threatened. |
| 10.0 | ***FLOOD STAGE*** At least 1 flood gate opened sometimes two depending on the rate of flow. Roads to homes in Fort Dodge along the river begin to flood and access to some subdivisions will be limited. |
