26.0 | DISASTEROUS FLOODING IN ALL AREAS FROM GRIFTON TO TICK BITE. FLOOD WATERS WILL THREATEN QUEEN STREET IN DOWNTON GRIFTON. NEARLY ALL HOMES BETWEEN QUEEN STREET AND THE CREEK WILL FLOOD. FLOODING ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE CREEK IN LENOIR COUNTY IS DISASTEROUS. MANY RESIDENCES ENTIRELY UNDERWATER. HIGHWAY 123 IN HOOKERTON WILL FLOOD ALONG WITH LOW AREAS OF THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF SNOW HILL. THIS IS COMPARABLE TO THE FLOOD AFTER HURRICANE FLOYD. |
24.0 | NUMEROUS HOMES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE CREEK BETWEEN SNOW HILL AND HOOKERTON WILL FLOOD. WATER WILL FLOOD UP TO WALSTON AND CREEK ROADS AND BEGIN TO THREATEN BUSINESSES IN HOOKERTON. WATER WILL FLOOD LOW AREAS ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF SNOW HILL. WIDESPREAD FLOODING WILL CAUSE NUMEROUS HOMES AND BUSINESSES IN GRFTON AND TICK BITE TO FLOOD. |
